Though not the best but still practical :/

Rather unfortunate there are no middle range weapons besides the polearms. A little more weapon diversity could go a long way

There are only 96 enemies in cave 1 so u need to go to cave 2 kill some enemies and get back

Are there any tips on how to optimize the combo meter? I've been trying to get the combo 100 medal on cave 1 but I'm too high leveled and kill all the enemies before reaching it

i was somewhere deep in the limestone caves when i realized the onigiris are rechargeable...

notes: the variable for the onigiri is 'hb'. if set to an invalid value(A nonwhole, negative, or greater than maximum value) the game will crash.

one day, we're gonna see a new update to the game. the little thumbnail sprite shows a new tileset for a new area, we finally made it out of the limestone caves. with our mice, we grab our stickmen and fling them with joy through the cave halls. and waiting for us at the end of the limestone caves, is the next stage.... "Lemonstone cave 1"

first played this when i was 8. came back during covid played sr 1. now back again! Still very charming. Kept the original feel yet somehow made it infinitely better haha. props to the man who made this! Go on!

when i did sr mod i can make hundreds of items and enemies in a month,but it took the developer about 6.5 years to make 131 items and 84 enemies. XD

Some comments not relevant to recent update: Bandit Amulet is important if you need to gain weapons, but then it requires you to get all medals in Terraced Cave. One medal is to get 225 gold, but you will need to get Gold Ring which is also dropped by monsters in Terraced Cave. However, after calucation, even if you clear the stage (Killed Yellow Big Droplet and White Big Skull Tree), you still have 8.89% chance to get the gold ring. The process of grinding Terraced Cave is kinda suffering. (Information of drop rate comes from SR2 wiki.)
